ALPHA ACT DANCE SHOWS & VISUALS
VISION OF ALPHA ACT
The female experience is both unique and universal. It is nurturing, yet charged with rage. Shaped by rigid expectations, yet constantly resisting them.
Alpha Act is a series of choreographies that explores this complexity. It was created from a desire to portray the multifaceted reality of women in our society.
More than a performance, Alpha Act is a healing space for its participants, a starting point for dialogue, and an intentional provocation aimed at challenging and redefining the image of women.
From protector to temptress, from innocence to raw power, Alpha Act guides the audience through the intricate landscape of the female mind and body in all its forms.
Created by Kate (Katarzyna Morton), the project brings together her own work alongside contributions from various choreographers, evolving through different versions of the show.
With each new edition, the number of women participating in Alpha Act continues to grow, reflecting its ongoing evolution through the bodies, experiences, and stories of those who shape it. The Alpha Act’s ultimate goal is to serve as many women as possile. We are open to share the 2026’s version of Alpha with other dance groups that would like to carry its message further on
Choreographers: Alpha 2026 Kate & Alina Crisu; 2025 Kate, Alina Crisu, Audrey Pellissier; 2024 Kate, Alina, Audrey, Katrien Gille.
DANCE FOR HER "Labour" Palom Paris
Choreography and the concept: Kate (Katarzyna Morton)
DANCE FOR HER is a collective dance project inspired by Paris Paloma’s LABOUR song, exploring the invisible work, expectations and sacrifices that women have carried across generations. It is both a separate project and part of the Alpha Act.
It speaks about the emotional, social and often unrecognised burdens placed on women simply because they are women. The dance becomes a way to express what may have been left unsaid, to honour the women who came before us, and to give a voice to ourselves and future generations.
You can dedicate your dance to someone meaningful to you: your mother, grandmother, daughter, friend, your younger or future self, or simply someone you love.
The project is about turning these individual experiences into a collective movement and shared experience. No skills level, dance background is required, nor it is relevant. Women from 18 to 55+ join the project, from students to working mums, busy-with-career people of all professions, creatives – literally anyone.
